Fiberon deck installation in Tampa Bay
Capped composite decking at a lower price than most premium brands, built the same careful way.
Fiberon is the composite brand we suggest when you want the low upkeep of composite without paying top-shelf prices. Its boards are capped like Trex and TimberTech, it offers a wide set of colors and finishes, and its higher lines compete with premium boards from the bigger names.
Fiberon's lines
Fiberon groups its boards from value lines, through mid-range capped composite, up to premium lines and a PVC line. The names and colors change over time, so we bring current samples to your site visit and quote the line that fits your budget.
Where Fiberon makes sense
- You want composite, and budget matters: Fiberon often comes in under Trex at a similar tier.
- Rental and investment properties: You get low maintenance and a clean look for less.
- Bigger decks: On a 400 to 600 square foot deck, a small per-board saving adds up to real money.
How we build Fiberon decks
Same build as every composite deck we do: concrete footings, pressure-treated framing at 12 inches on center, Fiberon's spacing for heat expansion, hidden fasteners or color-matched screws, and a picture-frame border with matching fascia. Building to Fiberon's instructions keeps the warranty valid.
Pairing Fiberon with railings
Fiberon boards look sharp with black aluminum railing or cable rail, both of which hold up well in Florida weather. See railings and stairs.
Common questions
Is Fiberon as good as Trex?
At similar tiers they're comparable capped composite products. Trex has wider name recognition and availability. Fiberon often costs a bit less. Either is a solid choice built correctly.
How long does Fiberon decking last?
Capped composite boards from Fiberon are made to last decades with basic cleaning, and the warranty length depends on the line. A deck's real lifespan also depends on the framing and footings under it, which is why we build those tight.
